A note from the founders
Built by makers.Fished by anglers.
Tacklerow is a US marketplace for custom and handmade fishing lures, sold direct by the people who pour, paint, and tie them. One front door for garage shops, one calmer way to buy.
What this is
A storefront for the people pouring after work.
Most of the best custom bait in the country gets sold in private Facebook groups, traded over DMs, and shipped after a screenshot of a Venmo. The bait is great. The system around it is held together with tape.
Tacklerow is a real marketplace built for that bait — public storefronts, organized listings, payments that don't require chasing anyone, and search that knows the difference between a crankbait and a craw.
Two people are building it: Raleigh and Todd. Anglers first, then operators. We aren't trying to replace the community. We're trying to give it a front door.

A bait market that does not live in someone else's DMs.
- 01
Public storefronts for soft plastics, painted cranks, flies, jigs, and one-off runs.
- 02
Checkout that does not require chasing screenshots, claims, payment apps, and shipping notes across message threads.
- 03
Listings organized around what anglers actually ask first: what species, what water, what bait.
Buy, sell, trade
Built for the way lure people already move.
Buy
Find bait by water.
Search bass, crappie, trout, redfish, and the lure styles that match the bite — not whatever the algorithm decides to show you.
Sell
Post runs without DM cleanup.
Give every bait a price, species tag, photo set, and checkout path in one place. Get paid by Stripe, not by screenshots.
Trade
Post-MVPMove one-offs cleanly.
A real swap lane for one-offs and color runs. Coming after the first 100 paid transactions settle — supply before swap.
Who's building this
Two builders, three sons, a lot of mornings on the water.
We make software for a living and we fish every chance we get. Tacklerow is the place we wished existed for the makers we already buy from.

Raleigh
Product and business
Raleigh leads product and the business side. He builds products in real life, and his free time goes to the water with his son. He started Tacklerow because the craft in this community deserves a real storefront, not a comment thread that scrolls away by morning.

Todd
Engineering
Todd leads engineering. He builds products for a living and fishes with his son whenever the work lets him. He is here for the details makers sweat over, the paint, the pour, the finish, and wants them shown the way they earned.
Founding season
Bring the bait community out of private threads.
Tacklerow is for makers who want reach without losing the craft, and for anglers who want bait sorted by what catches fish. The first shops set the tone.
